At Midland Sheet and Plate we offer supply of metal sheet/plate and its processing including laser cutting, folding and rolling. Our capacities are below:

Laser Cutting: 3kw fibre-laser machine with 1.5x3m sheet capacity. Can cut the following:

Up to 20mm mild steel
Up to 10mm stainless
Up to 6mm aluminium

Sheet/Plate Folding: We have a 4m wide 170 ton brake press and 3m wide hydraulic pan brake. Maximum brake-press thickness in G250 mild steel is:

12mm - up to approx 1.8m wide
10mm - up to approx 2.6m wide
8mm - Full 4m width

We do not offer bending of grade 80 or wear plates.

We take additional care with aluminium by utilising polyurethane sheet underneath workpiece while bending. 

Rolling: We can roll up to 6mm G250 steel plate, 1250mm wide. Rolling machines have 75 and 150mm diameter rolls.

Fabrication and Welding: As of December 2024 we are no longer taking on welding work to ensure we can offer the most competitive lead times for laser cutting and bending.

Workshop based: All work is completed at our Midland workshop. We are unable to assist with work off-site at this stage.
